  • Premium Italian wine
  • Minimum ageing is 38 months, of which 18 months is in oak, French
  • Riserva is five years of ageing

Barolo traits:

  • Red, saturated
  • Looks light-bodied however is not
  • Extremely gripping tannins
  • Black Cherry, leather, anise, clay, tea leaves, rose petals
  • Very minerally which is typical of old world wine
  • High amount of acid
