Nebbiolo

  • Grape native to Italy, Piedmont region, also grown in Lombardy
  • Used for Barolo and barbaresco
  • Nebia means ‘fog’ which is common during harvest in Piedmont
  • 90% grown in Italy, with some in the US, Australia and Argentina

Nebbioli traits:

  • Very dry, huge tannins and acid
  • Looks light bodied
